With the soft sound of music in the air, we entered The Babushka Deli: a quaint artistic space featuring Al-fresco dining for the whole family.

The delightful aroma of the chef's classical Russian dishes linger in the air alongside fresh breads & pastries.

The dedicated Kids’ Menu offers a host of healthy options, which the tots can enjoy on the wide lawn!

We then catch a glimpse of Russian culture & history through the unique Marvol Gallery, a rotating exhibition featuring exquisite Russian art & antiquities which are quite a site to behold - feeling as if we were far away...

If this were only a visual experience it may have all been quite normal, however, Hazendal exceeded expectations by creating an ambiance of pure immersion for us to enjoy.

Beer Garden Closed for Season, Re-opens - 1 September 2021

The theme continues with wonderful Babushka Picnics, enjoyed on the spacious lawns, filled with Russian delicacies.

Artisan breads, snoek pâté, dukkah-spiced chicken & Russian Olivier potato salad.

R300 per adult and R140 per child.

Feel like Russian nobility while enjoying Russian Tea Ceremonies adorned with hand-painted murals & crystal chandeliers.

Centered around a steaming samovar, a black tea brew and some delicious Russian sweet & savoury delights, it really is a spectacle.

Wonderdal - a tot's paradise where children aged 5-13 journey through the worlds of science & nature while building life skills!

The best part? It's fully supervised and curriculum-aligned, so you can relax while the tots enjoy the day.

Grade R-3 classes can experience the magical Wonderdal for free this entire year!
