After three years away, it was such a joy to return to one of our family’s most special places – where we got married in the truly magical forest of Mount Sheba, perched high above Pilgrim’s Rest.
Embracing Nature's Wonders

Every visit to Mount Sheba is a treat for our family and our souls. We soak in the vibrant energy of the forest, listen to the delightful bird calls, and enjoy the soothing sounds of waterfalls. Hiking the lush forest trails is always an adventure filled with discovery!
Morning Delights with Samango Monkeys

This time, we were treated to the best morning shows ever by the local Samango monkeys! They fed, played, and groomed each other in the bush, just on the edge of our lodge. Watching them was pure joy!

Magical Evenings by the Fire
Evenings at Mount Sheba are just as magical. Imagine this: a glass of wine by the crackling fireside, while the hotel takes wonderful care of us with hearty, delicious three-course meals. What better way to end the day than with good food, great company, and a warm fire?

Exploring the Surroundings
Mount Sheba is not just about relaxation; it’s also about exploration! There are numerous hiking trails that lead you through ancient forests, all the way to breath-taking streams and waterfalls. Each hike is a new adventure, revealing the beauty of nature at every turn.

Creating Lasting Memories
Our time at Mount Sheba is filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories. Whether it’s watching the monkeys play or enjoying a cosy evening by the fire, every moment is special.
