The WineTots enjoy relaxed country-style dining and wine tasting with friends at De Meye

The WineTots made it to The Table restaurant at De Meye for the first time! We enjoyed an incredibly delicious lunch, all of which was locally and ethically sourced, paired with De Meye’s fine Rosé and Chenin Blanc.

This is what Sundays are made for… relaxing out on the lawn under the oaks with good friends, fine wine and great food.

The kids had fun on the lawn playing with the visiting and local dogs, playing doggie themselves and got treated to two ice creams each!

Then it was time to re-taste their wines … seeing that the last time was some years ago.

De Meye’s current vineyards include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz (for the reds and rosé), and Chardonnay & Chenin Blanc (for the whites).

De Meye produces organic high-quality natural lavender oil using Lavandula Intermedia, or Provence Lavender, which is grown on the farm.

De Meye also has a function venue, called The Shed that can be hired for events. It accommodates up to 130 people and has a bar area, space for dancing, and access to De Meye's lawns and gardens.
