We're back in Stellies for the Easter holiday and ready to have a winederful time!

Earlier this year we checked in with one of our all-time favourite wineries – Tokara! We also explored a new winery, the recently opened Pink Valley Wines - specialising in rosè - the perfect recipe for an incredible summer's day!

Tokara Wine Estate

One of our Top 20 WineTots Spots, with tons of stunning changing sculptures from local artists, an astounding variety of flora, aesthetic architecture, delectable food & of course, tantalisingly good wines!

They focus on 2 varietals, Cabernet Sauvignon & Sauvignon Blanc... both beautifully bold, boasting flavours unique to their design while being well balanced - truly special wines from a truly special winery.

Eat your heart out at the Tokara Restaurant with contemporary cuisine inspired by the South African countryside. They currently offer an à la carte menu for lunch & set menu (4/6 courses) for dinner – a must-try for foodies!

For the perfect child-friendly option, visit their Tokara Delicatessen – a restaurant & gourmet food shop with a seasonal menu, and an incredible Tree house jungle gym!

It's also always nice to enjoy a complimentary tasting of their Extra Virgin Olive oils, produced just next door to the Deli!

Pink Valley Wines & Restaurant

Founded in 2018, this French-South African winery focuses solely on the production of specialist classic rosé wines – a first in SA!

Stunning labels inspired by South African abstract painter Walter Battiss give each vintage its own unique personality.

Pink Valley in the Helderberg area offers a vertical tasting of their rosé’s (2019 - 2021). The 2021 vintage has a beautiful blush-colour with ripe notes of melon & tropical fruit, followed by a beautifully balanced palate that lingers - the best thing we could have done on a summer's day! If you’re in luck you can even taste their rosé wines from their sister estates in the Mediterranean area.

Explore African/Mediterranean dishes with a lovely atmosphere in their beautiful relaxed restaurant surrounded by vines and even a jungle gym for the young kids. Enjoy beef ribs & Vietnamese rolls with a refreshing glass of Pink Valley rosé & some of their pink rose gin (a must-try!)
