An Easter weekend to remember!

Join them for an Easter Egg Hunt & Picnic (3 April), Hot Cross Bun Sunday (4 April) or Game Day (5 April)!

QUOIN ROCK

With its breath-taking scenery, stellar wines, world-class cuisine and five-star service, you are guaranteed a memorable experience at Quoin Rock.

On Sunday, 4 April, visitors can choose between an elaborate 7-course lunch menu or a relaxing picnic on the lawn.

Both options include traditional Easter treats, such as pickled fish & hot cross buns.

The sit-down lunch costs R1 200 per person (excl. gratuity & drinks) and includes entertainment by a cellist.

The picnic lunch is perfect for the whole family, at only R480 per adult and R275 for children under 12 (A R200 deposit via Dineplan secures your booking).

There will, of course, also be fun Easter entertainment for the tots to enjoy!

Before heading home, guests will also receive a little gift from Quoin Rock, to remind you of your time spent there!

SPIER

From 2 to 5 April, your tots can make their own rabbit ears and baskets for collecting Easter eggs in a 1-hour workshop outside in the shade of the River House.

Starts 9:30am. @R100 per child.

Join Spier for a three-course Easter Sunday Lunch (4 April) while you're serenaded at the riverside. Begin with gourmet salads & fresh-baked breads, followed by slow-braised brisket, roasted leg of lamb, smoked ocean trout, a cheesy butternut pasta bake, bacon-flecked charred broccoli and aubergine & tomato melanzane.

Delicious wines from the Spier Wine Tasting Station will also be available.

Lunch costs R495 per person, R165 tots 4-12, free tots under 4.

In non-Easter news: Spier’s third annual Light Art Show, a must-see, is running until 18 April 2021, where visitors will experience an array of light, sound and video artworks throughout the farm.

The Light Show is free to the public but, like all other events mentioned, must be booked in advance. Starting at 6:30pm, the best time to visit is at dusk, when you can catch both the beautiful sunset and the switching on of the lights.

BOSCHENDAL

Join their Easter Table Workshop on Saturday 27 March presented by Flower Café and interior designer, Jay Smith. You’ll learn just how to make your Easter dining table stand out this year.

The workshop will start off with tea & scones at the Deli at 8:30am, followed by a forage in the garden & creative centrepiece design, and will end off with a delicious lunch.

For R1595 pp, you get to design and create a tulip-inspired centrepiece which you can take home alongside all the other accessories and your very own bespoke Jay Smith printed linen apron.

From 2-5 April, Boschendal is also having picnics and an Easter egg hunt. Spend the day lazing on picnic blankets and rest back chairs under the trees while sipping on Boschendal wine.

Rhebokskloof will have a basket of activities over the Easter weekend (2-5 April).
