In light of yet another alcohol ban, our local wine farms are in dire need of support. Although wine is not on the menu at the moment, these wineries are offering hearty on-the-go winter snacks/meals, farm-fresh ingredients, and mystical views to warm your soul this winter.

MIDDELVLEI
Nothing can stop a South African from having a lekker braai, so grab your coat and head off to Middelvlei for a toasty braaibroodjie & authentically Afrikaans boerewors roll.
(available 10am – 3pm)
Or keep your hands warm with a cup of their famous Boeretroos (farm coffee) while strolling through their vineyards – what a winter treat!
Guests can soak up the sights while mountain biking along the old farm roads, or enjoying a trail run, any time between 7am & 5pm every day!
The farm has reopened the 'Middelvlei Staff Family Relief' for anyone wishing to donate to their incredible staff during these tough times - a little goes a long way.

BABYLONSTOREN
Nothing beats waking up to views of the enchanting Cape Winelands on a misty winter morning. Stay at Babylonstoren’s Farm Hotel this winter for 2 nights and only pay for 1!

Meander down to the Farm Shop & Home Shop for all your farm-fresh essentials or grab a warm cuppa to go from the Lekker Room.

Book a stay at their luxury cottages for a winelands winter you won’t forget!
However, for the more adventurous, hiking, biking, and running trails are available.
